Welcome to JoyRentals! By booking a bike or using any service on joyrentals.al, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding.
1. Service Description
JoyRentals provides:
- City bike rentals for leisure or travel purposes within Shkodra.
- Luggage storage services, supervised 24/7 with security cameras.
2. Booking Process
To complete a booking, you must provide:
- Full name (first and last)
- Age
- Email address
- Mobile number
- Number of bikes
- Preferred date and time of rental
- Upload of a valid government-issued ID (front side)
You agree that all information provided is accurate and up to date.
3. Eligibility
You must meet the following conditions to rent a bike:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Possess a valid ID document
- Agree to the rental terms upon booking
4. ID Verification
We require a
valid front-side photo of your ID for identity verification and security purposes. The data will be securely stored and only used for this rental transaction unless otherwise required by law.
5. Price and Payment
- The standard rental price is €5 per bike per day.
- Payment must be made in full at the time of booking or in person before rental.
- We do not offer hourly rentals.
6. Cancellations and Refunds
- Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance for a full refund.
- No-shows or late cancellations are non-refundable.
7. Use of Bikes
By renting a bike, you agree to:
- Use the bike only within Shkodra city limits.
- Not ride under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- Not engage in dangerous or reckless riding.
- Be liable for any damage, loss, or theft of the bike during your rental period.
8. Return of Bikes
- Bikes must be returned before 8:00 PM on the same day.
- Late returns may result in additional fees.
9. Liability and Insurance
- JoyRentals is not liable for any personal injury or third-party damage resulting from your use of the bike.
- You assume all risk related to the use of the bike.
10. Luggage Storage
- Luggage storage is available during business hours (8:00 AM to 8:00 PM).
- Items are monitored by 24/7 camera surveillance.
- We are not responsible for the loss or damage of unclaimed or undeclared valuable items.
11. Data Protection
We collect and store personal data as part of our booking process. This includes:
- Name
- Contact details
- Uploaded ID
- Booking data (date, time, number of bikes)
This data is:
- Used only for the purpose of processing your booking and ensuring rental safety.
- Stored securely and not shared with third parties unless legally required.

12. Modifications
JoyRentals reserves the right to change or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be posted on the website.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Albania. Any disputes shall be handled through the competent Albanian courts.
